Born and raised in a family jewellery business rooted in Chinatown, San Francisco, Jeannie Wu, thrives on her life path as a meaningful entrepreneur. From a family that migrated back and forth between China and Myanmar (Burma) during WWII and to the U.S. in the 70s, the matter of identity has been a core since her youth. By creating an Asian contemporary jewellery brand - Gummaae, Jeannie aims to empower the representation of Asian Americans.
